Google vs. Microsoft

Is the battle between Google and Microsoft raising to a new level? Scobleizer posted about some "insider" info that sounds like Google is working either on a offline Gmail client or even a server platform that might let organizations replace Microsoft’s Exchange server.

That does sounds like war declaration against Microsoft…

This might get interesting and maybe even dirty… ;-)

IE8 and it’s new Favorites bar

It looks like the guys at Microsoft have been busy and added some cool features to IE8. Take a look at IE8’s new Favorite bar, which has some pretty nifty and cool stuff like "WebSlices"

A WebSlice is a piece of a webpage (a “slice”) that you can subscribe to. When you subscribe to a WebSlice, it appears as a shortcut on the Favorites bar.

See the post on the MSDN blog for more details.

Super Copier 2

I have to say, I am pretty impressed with Super Copier 2. I recently discovered Super Copier 2 through a RSS feed. It handles copying much much better than Windows itself. Super Copier 2 can copy huge files way faster that Windows and it even allows the user to pause and resume the copy / move action.

With many more features Super Copier 2 is something that I just can’t use my pc without…

give it a try - http://supercopier.sfxteam.org/modules/mydownloads/ (click the English flag on the left side for the English version of the site)

Super Copier 2 integrates itself into windows and replaces the default Windows copy / move functions.
