I’ll list here all those applications that i can’t imagine living without. From the big ones to the small utils i use. I’ll try to keep this as updated as i can. If you think there is something missing - please let me know in the comments.
- FileZilla - Open Source FTP client. Simple and fast.
- Firefox - the best internet browser - i use the following
extensions:- SEO for firefox - always check the sites you link to and get linked from
- Gmail manager - manage all gmail accounts and get notified about every mail
- Adblock Plus - block annoying ads
- Better Gmail - makes gmail even better
- clippings - Save frequently-entered text for pasting later.
- fasterfox - surf the web faster
- FEBE - back up your Firefox extensions, themes, cookies, bookmarks, etc… or even your entire profile
- flashblock - block flash from auto loading and prevent those annoying sounds of some banners
- search status - see the status and PR of websites
- Tab Mix Plus - adds loads of configuration possibilities to your tabbing in Firefox
- Web Developer - all in one toolbar for webmasters
- Greenshot - nifty screenshot utility
- OneNote - part of MS Office and helps organizing information
- Feedreader -read your favorite RSS feeds with Feedreader
- Notepad++ - just like notepad, but way better with tabs, syntax highlighting, and much much more
- PowerMenu - adds Minimize to tray, always on top, transparency to your right click on apps
- Photoshop - The best app to edit images (or GIMP, which is free)
- ccleaner - clean your pc with one click
